* High-speed Internet is limited to Cable, DSL, Fiber, and other "hard wired" Internet Service Providers. ISPs that offer wireless or satellite internet do not function well with Voice IP. If you have DSL, your provider may require traditional telephone service with them. IMPORTANT: Emergency 911 service is included, but (in rare instances) may not work due to power outages, ISP downtime, network / Internet issues, incorrectly configured address, or other problems. Therefore, the emergency 911 service with Packet8 (or any other Voice IP service) is considered to some as "unreliable". Please be aware of these issues before you subscribe to Packet8. Setup cost subject to change due to current promotions from Packet8. Voice IP is not (yet) a solution for Fax lines, as you may have unreliable faxing success depending on your Internet connection and specific Fax machine. Fax support is on it's way.
